The stories were inspirational, exhibiting hope and courage. Diagnosed with MS over 18 years ago, to me it means MIGHTY STRENGTH. Through many struggles, the strength has been there. Like each one of these people, challenges bring out the true character. Thanks for a reminder.

In 2001, I was diagnosed with an obliterative lung disease although I never smoked or worked in textile or other factories. The inability to work and the loss of control over my life has been traumatic; moreover, my grown children do not know how to handle this transformation. My daughter gave the book to me at Christmas. Thank you; I know and derive courage from the knowledge that I am not alone.

I have been battling a very rare illness. Thank God for my PCP, Mary, because without her, I would not have known I have X-ALD, AMN and Addison's Disease. Trying to explain all of this to my family while telling them there is no cure for me is very hard. In return I handed them your book, no words spoken. When they were done, they understood why I did it and said if I had not done that, they would not have a better understanding of things and chronic illnesses. Thanks!

This was such a wonderfulbook. My husband has secondary progressive MS and for the past several years I have seen the man who once took care of us his family ..now is the one I am the caregiver of. This has been a very hard roll to taker over both for him and for me. I feel like I'm in a tunnel and will never see the light at ther other end. Always worried what life will be for us if he falls or what will happen to us if I'm not able to take care of him. Why???????
